About Me

I’m a Data Science Manager based in the Greater Boston area, after previously living in London, Washington DC, and Thailand. I currently work at TJX Companies Inc. on the Consumer Business & Insights team within the Marketing Department, where I build predictive models, automation tools, and machine learning solutions that improve marketing performance and business decision-making.

My path into data began during my undergraduate years at West Virginia University, where I earned a BSc in Mathematics while working part-time as a research assistant in a medical lab. There, I analyzed large datasets generated by flow cytometry machines, giving me my first exposure to large-scale analytics and sparking a long-term interest in data science.

After graduating, I spent five years teaching mathematics and statistics, primarily at the high school level in the United States, as well as abroad in Thailand. During that time, I began teaching myself programming and data science, eventually leading me to pursue an MSc in Data Science at Birkbeck, University of London.

Following my MSc, I entered the corporate data space by helping upskill analysts and guide advanced machine learning and analytics initiatives. After nearly two years, I transitioned into a more hands-on technical role, developing machine learning solutions directly and specializing in customer analytics within retail.

Today, my work spans predictive modeling, marketing analytics, and AI integration. I develop solutions that save time and reduce costs, while also improving ROI across digital marketing initiatives. I’ve worked extensively with large language models and automation systems, integrating them into data pipelines, dashboards, and internal tools to extract insights from unstructured data and support smarter decision-making.

My technical expertise includes Python, R, SQL, and cloud-based platforms, along with experience in Databricks, Snowflake Cortex, Streamlit, and Power BI. I also have strong experience in data engineering and ML DevOps, building scalable, production-ready systems designed to deliver measurable business impact.

Beyond the technical side of my career, I’ve long been interested in philosophy, neurobiology, cognition, and memory. I’m fascinated by how biological systems process experience and intelligence, and by how those principles can inform the design of artificial intelligence and computer systems. That curiosity continues to shape my interest in large language models, computer vision, robotics, and experimental AI projects I explore in my own time.

Professionally, I’m motivated by the full lifecycle of data work, from designing scalable machine learning pipelines and predictive systems to building internal tools, dashboards, and web applications that make complex outputs accessible and actionable. I enjoy combining data science with web development to create polished, self-serve products that empower teams to move faster and make better decisions.

A central theme across my work is thoughtful AI adoption. I believe the most effective use of AI is to amplify human judgment rather than replace it. I focus on integrating copilots, automation, and intelligent workflows in ways that accelerate productivity while keeping people at the center of decision-making.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel and exploring new cultures. Raised in West Virginia, I’ve also lived and worked in Virginia, Massachusetts, London, and Thailand. Over the years, I’ve visited Canada, India, Palestine, Israel, France, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Malta, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Turkey, Egypt, Costa Rica, the Netherlands, Scotland, and England. These experiences have shaped my worldview and fueled my curiosity.

Beyond travel, I enjoy financial investing, weightlifting, martial arts, Muay Thai, cooking, rock climbing, hiking, photography, Dungeons & Dragons, and discovering new technologies. If you share similar interests or would like to collaborate on data-driven projects, feel free to reach out.
